Yes, according to a new study of Lactobacillus reuter. Eighty-three breastfed infants were given either oral L reuter or simethicone. By the end of the 28-day study, colicky symptoms had improved in 95% of the babies given the probiotic, compared with 7% of the babies who received simethicone (Savino F et al: Pediatrics 2007;119:e124).
Однако, у меня вопрос.
В среднем infant colics к концу второго месяца проходят ( с прoбиотиком или без пробиотика ). Я не могу посмотреть статью целиком по техническим причинам, хотелось бы понять, что имели в виду авторы статьи?

The Effects of Probiotics on Feeding Tolerance, Bowel Habits, and Gastrointestinal Motility in Preterm Newborns
The newborns receiving breast milk and those receiving L. reuteri had a significant decrease in the number of episodes of regurgitation, and a significantly reduced mean crying daily time compared with those given placebo, expressed as the mean values per day recorded over the last 7 days of the treatment (Table III). Moreover, the newborns receiving breast milk or L. reuteri had a larger number of stools at the end of intervention diet compared with those on placebo (Table III). Only 1 episode of vomiting was recorded in the placebo group. No difference was seen in daily body weight gain, and there were no adverse events reported related
