Treatment with amiodarone: How to avoid complications

Adverse effects will occur in 15 to 50% of patients, from the first year of treatment to prolonged treatment with amiodarone, up to five per cent of which will experience pulmonary toxicity that will exclude them from treatment. Altogether, 20% of patients will need to discontinue amiodarone due to adverse effects. Semi-annual thyroid hormone transaminase tests, an annual chest x-ray as well as an annual ECG are recommended in all amiodarone patients.

Плохо даже не только то , что лечение амиодароном полно осложнений- хуже , что лечение осложнений терапии амиодароном полно новых осложнений ( это я уже чисто конкретно о ситуации в нашей клинике ) Увы, преднизолон - не конфетка ..
